Electronic Business Information
This notice contains important information regarding your transaction of business
with us electronically. Federal law treats electronic signatures as having the same
legal force and effect as if they were signed on paper by hand. Therefore, online
contracts have the same legal force as signing an equivalent paper contract in ink.
Please note, to apply for products and services online, the applicant will be required
to utilize an electronic signature.
Below is information regarding Records received, signed and/or delivered electronically
by or with SmartyPig (“we” or “us” or “our.”)
Records include, but are not limited to, applications, notices, disclosures, and
authorizations.
By using this Website you are providing consent to receive all Records that might
be sent in connection with your account from SmartyPig electronically, rather than
in paper format. SmartyPig does not offer its users an option to receive Records
in paper format. SmartyPig will only provide you with paper copies of any records
when required to do so by law or court order, in which case SmartyPig will charge
the account holder a per-page fee of $5. Contact Customer Service at 888-567-6278 to request a Record.
A shipping and handling fee of $5 per Record copy to account holder will also apply.
Printing/Downloading Records
You agree to print out and/or download Records when we advise you to do so and keep
them for your records. If you have any trouble printing out, downloading, and/or
accessing any Records, you may contact us at 888-567-6278.
